Tips on Working with this Blog

Here's what I've been able to determine: First, you need to join the blog, which creates a profile. Once you've signed in as a member, then you click on the title of a posting to make comments about the post, share your experiences, and so on. Others will be able to see it and make comments. The little envelope icon is for sending the post to a friend via email. You cannot make posts, only I can, but you can make comments to any of my postings.

  1. Just a test comment. Tried to post something silly yesterday and failed. I've reached the age where I can't really tell the difference between funny and silly. Maybe, I never could.
You had one post time stamped at 3:22 A.M., another at 3:33 A.M. When do you sleep?

  2. There must be some time lag, because I haven't been posting in the wee hours of the night. I do sleep.

  3. I'm very worried about Obama. I'm afraid some right wing lunatic like the holocaust murderer will try to hurt him. How do I pray for that? For peace? How do I send him white light and love? How do I become the peace I need to be to help and not hinder the situation. It will come up again, and I don't want to start hating. I'm open for advice.

  4. You just do it: pray as you feel moved to pray. Obviously your feelings have some justified intuitive sense, given the shooting today at the Museum. Your prayers will add to his protective shield. Cayce often quoted "the prayers of 10 can save a nation." There are many praying for his safety. Add your voice to those prayers.

  5. Imagination is a very powerful force. One way to define worry is - the negative use of the imagination. To be "very worried" is, potentially, empowering a result that you do not want. As you pray, I would, personally, suggest that you arrange your thoughts, your words toward a positive result not against a negative result.
John, so often the Cayce material was painfully complex in its wording but at times simply poetic. In one quote he said, "... the prayer ot ten just should save a city." The use of the words "just" and "should" could fuel a lengthy discussion. Another day maybe.

  6. repeat of my comment which wasn't taken by the blog--wrong profile?

I've never heard 'worry' described just this way before--imagination turned negative. It resonated and I'll recall and apply it at my next 'worry' opportunity which is always immanent. Thanks Tim.

  7. Wow. Wonderful comments. Thank you all. I will take them all to heart, and reword my thoughts. I love that the prayers of 10 can save a nation. Very positive. Worry - the negative use of the imagination. So true. Thank you again.

This blog is a wonderful idea. Thank you, John. I've attended a few of your workshops in Gulf Shores, Ala. I always left with the feeling that I'd gained so much just by listening to you. You'll never know how many folks you've helped by sharing your vast knowledge of Cayce, and putting his words into everyday language. :)

  8. I thought I had solved my problem with posting comments by setting up a blog but I set that up working on my PC using Internet Exployer. When I go back to my Mac using Firefox, I still can't post comments. Go figure. Worry not. That may be a blessing to those who are following this blog.
